WE Studio D’s Social Media Team Keeps Growing

Studio D has many digital strategists around the globe. In fact, everyone here to some degree is a digital strategist, and with digital comes social media. It’s just part of the tool kit. But because Studio D has so many amazing digital strategists, my team at Studio D is a little more focused on social media, things hard to define and yet to be done. Because we’re in Seattle, my team gets the privilege of working with some of our bigger clients.
Next month will make one year for me at Waggener Edstrom, and in that time, my team has grown rapidly. The first person to join my team (so that it was actually a team and not just me referring to myself in the royal we) was Kristen Grant. A few months later, Matt Whiting joined our team. Both Kristen and Matt came to Studio D from the account side of Waggener Edstrom and are two of the hardest-working and talented people I know.
As Studio D has grown, we’ve been making constant adjustments, and in the most recent organizational shuffles, I managed to snag Jessica Polley from another Studio D team. Jess has regularly worked with my team on some very challenging projects, and I can’t believe we’re lucky enough to have her on our team.
Today marks the 4th addition to my team. As I write this, Scott Meis is on his way to our office for his first day of work at Waggener Edstrom (at least he better be on his way here). Scott joins us today having moved back to the Seattle area from Chicago. You can read all about the transition in his own words on his blog. Scott brings some much needed diversity to our team. His focus and passion on the nonprofit sector is a skill set we’ll put to great use. I warned Scott to be ready to hit the ground running.
It’s been an amazing year (so far), and I feel truly blessed to work with so many great people every single day. The rapid growth of our team is a reflection of the exponential growth in business. I’m known for being a busy guy, but I can honestly say I’ve never been this busy before. It’s a good busy. It’s the show up for work everyday and get to do something you love until you’re exhausted and drag yourself home.
And I’m fortunate to have a talented team to work with.
